I take pride in creating clean, well-crafted and hand-coded HTML that gives fast loading times and maximum cross-browser compatibility. I work to the latest W3C standards, using cascading style sheets and server-side includes to help search-engine crawlers read the code, which improves your site’s ranking in search engines.
My programming background also allows me to quickly add or write custom scripts for specialized functions and relational database queries, using JavaScript, Perl / CGI, ASP or PHP.
And I also have an excellent track record in search engine optimization, which in most cases will be the #1 technique to increase traffic to your website. I’ve had a lifelong passion for the creative arts, which has led me through music, oil & fabric painting and sculpture, to the computer graphic arts. I have been complimented repeatedly on my aesthetic sense, and I take great pleasure in creating a website that is not only functional but is also pleasing to the eye.
I use a number of the latest software applications to generate quick-loading web graphics and animations. I love to add three-dimensional, reflective and transparency effects, yet they must also balance with the overall feel of the site so they don’t interfere with your desired response from your visitors. No matter what type of website you are creating, its effectiveness will depend on having a clear focus towards your most-desired user response. Whether you hire me for copy writing or I just suggest improvements, you can be sure that your visitors will be enticed to make the response you want.
