End of Season News
| Another fun season is behind us We ended the regular season in third place, behind Tequila Joe's 1 and Woolwich Arms 1. Then we went through the playoffs, finishing in fourth place, behind Tequila Joe's 1, Woolwich Arms 1 and Shakespeare Arms 2. There were some remarkable individual numbers. Julian had two 180s; 81 tons or better; won 24 of the 25 singles he played; had two 140 opens; and put the least money into the Green Fees Fund. A career year. Wigger had the highest out of the year, with a 117. Jack and Ron were both welcome additions to the team this year. Jack won 15 of his 22 singles, while Ron won 10 of his 15. The banquet is next Saturday, May 13, at the Italian Canadian Club. Expect to hear from Jim soon about the summer golf game. We'll do it all again next year. |
