The season ending news
It was a disappointing end, but the Italian-Canadian 4 team played well in the championship game and beat us 11 - 5. Congratulations to them. Julian won the ton derby with 67. Aaron came second with 53 and Dex was third with 52. In singles, Steve was undefeated. Gord came second with 17 - 4 (0.800) and Dex was third with 20 - 6 (0.760). Among the highlights of the year, Steve and Wigger each shot 180, and Jim and Ron each had a 171 (3 X T19). Congratulations to them. We ended up with $293.50 in the Green Fees Fund. This will subsidize those of us who play in the team golf game. Jim is organizing it for Saturday June 24. He will be in touch with us all about the location and tee times.
