Out Chart

Know your out chart like the back of your hand!
There are many different combinations of numbers you can use to successfully double-out in an ’01 dart game. Here are my preferred out number combinations
DB = Double Bull; B = Single Bull; T = Triple; D=Double
Coming soon - I will be providing details of alternative finishes and the reasons why I have chosen to deviate from the standard out chart

League Rules

Teams

Each team shall consist of 8-12 players.
A minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 players can place each night.
Players may be added to a team to replace players who have left, or to increase numbers up to the 12 maximum. New players must not have played for other teams.
Teams with less than 8 players are subject to dummy rules.
Captain's may chose how many players will be playing in a match prior to the draw
Random draw of ALL PLAYERS INDICATED shall be used to determine match-ups.
Substitute Players cannot play for more than one team.

League Format

All teams will compete in one division.
Each team will play all the other teams in a single round-robin.
The standings are used to determine the Playoff Groups.
Play-off format shall be determined based on number of teams registered
Play-Off Groups and Division finalists are determined as follows:
- Most points (regular win = 3pts; tiebreaker win = 2pts; tiebreaker loss = 1pt; regular loss = 0pt)
- Most wins
- Plus / minus on legs won
- Head-to-head results between all tied teams
- Most Legs won
- A forfeit will result in a score of 10-0 being recorded
(NB: The standings shown on this web-site and Facebook may need to be corrected to reflect Head-to-Head results before determining Play-Off Groups and Division finalists).

Start times

The draw for the games should be made at 7.45pm to ensure a 8pm start time
If less than 8 players are present at 8pm, the draw should be made using dummy rules.
If a team has less than 6 players present after a 15 minute grace period the opposing Captain may claim a forfeit win.
Captains should ensure that all players are ready to start immediately their game comes up. Every effort should be made to ensure that matches are completed by a reasonable hour.
A player who leaves without agreement by both Captain's shall forfeit their game if they do not return prior to their scheduled match. Players are encouraged to order drinks, take smoke breaks, etc, before their scheduled match so as not to cause unnecessary delays.

Games played

General rules:
5 or less players Opposing Captain may claim win by default (score = 10-0)
8 players or more No dummies are required. The random draw is made with all players present to determine match-ups
Dummy scores A dummy shall score 25 points if the score is 100 or more. Once the score is 99 or less the remaining player or players shall shoot in turn, without a missing a turn.
Late player If short-handed, a dummy can be placed at the end of the first 701 Doubles draw to allow for a late player. Dummies in Doubles and Singles must be drawn at random. If a player fails to arrive before their second round Doubles game is due to start then that player cannot play singles and is replaced by a player drawn at random by opposing team
Even strength teams:
7 vs 7 players. Doubles - Add the dummies into the draw and play all four one-leg 701 matches. Even if both dummies get drawn in the same match then the two players will play one-on-one but with dummy score (25) included.
Doubles - Add the dummies into the draw and play all four three-leg 501 matches as above.
Singles - play 7 singles - the last game is not played.
Total games played = 15. A tie-breaker is not possible.
6 vs. 6 players No dummies are required. The random draw is made with all players present to determine match-ups
Doubles - play 3 regular doubles matches
Singles - play 6 regular singles matches
Total games played = 12. A tie-breaker is played if required.
Uneven strength teams:
8 vs. 7 players Doubles - Add the dummy into the draw and play all four one-leg 701 matches and all four three-leg 501 matches
The team with 8 players shall ensure that no player is drawn into more than one game that has a dummy.
Singles - The opposing Captain will choose one player at random from the 7 players present to play the 8th single match - this ensure all 8 players drawn to play singles do get a game to play.
Total games played = 16. A tie-breaker is played if required.
7 vs. 6 players Doubles - Add the dummies into the draw and play all four matches (both formats). The team with 6 players will have 2 pairs and 2 players playing with a dummy. The team with 7 player will have 3 pairs and 1 player playing with a dummy. Even if dummies get drawn in the same match then the two players will play one-on-one but with dummy score (25) included.
The team with 7 players shall ensure that no player is drawn into more than one game that has a dummy (with or against a dummy)
Singles - The opposing Captain will choose one player at random from the 6 players present to play the 7th single match - this ensure all 7 players drawn to play singles do get a game to play. The 8th singles match is not played.
Total games played = 15. A tie-breaker is not possible.
8 vs. 6 players Doubles - play 2 doubles and 2 dummy-doubles match. Play all four matches (both formats)
The team with 8 players shall ensure that no player is drawn into more than one game that has a dummy.
Singles - The opposing Captain will choose two different players at random from the 6 players present to play the 7th and 8th single matches - this ensure all 8 players drawn to play singles do get a game to play.
Total games played = 16. A tie-breaker is played if required.
